Dent is Marshal of the Louisville Chancery Court and publishes this broadside advertising the sale of land on the "Southwest corner of Jefferson and first streets" in Louisville. The court is auctioning off this 26.25 feet of ground to the highest bidder, staring at $2,399. The land came from the case of Robert Buckner vs. Thomas Buckner's Heirs, in Chancery.
